A Gift That Benefits Both Your Loved Ones and the World<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When you leave a gift in your will, you ensure your assets are distributed exactly as you wish. And because charitable organisations in Denmark, like Oxfam Denmark, are exempt from inheritance tax, your gift will go in full to the cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In some cases, your loved ones can even benefit financially from your generosity. This is known as the 30% solution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Is the 30% Solution?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The 30% solution allows you to leave 30% of your estate to one or more charitable organisations on the condition that they cover the inheritance taxes for your other heirs. Your heirs will then receive the remaining 70% of your estate tax-free<\/strong> \u2013 often resulting in them receiving slightly more than they would have otherwise, while also supporting a good cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This arrangement is particularly relevant if your heirs are subject to the highest inheritance tax rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
