Combatting GBV \u2013 a new model implemented throughout the Northern Ghana<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

To reinforce protection against widespread Gender Based Violence, GBV, Oxfam and Norsaac, a local partner, in collaboration with local authorities have developed a new exemplary way of combatting GBV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new promising model, named \u201cAgenda 55\u201d is an integrated system, encompassing the entire region which has managed to get full commitment from all 55 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies, (MMDAs) and Regional Coordinating Councils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is expected to lead to full registration of incidents, improved services for survivors and elimination of fees for hospital checks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
