Schools in poorer areas are often located on land vulnerable to floods or droughts, while climate\u2011driven migration, urbanisation and rising poverty place further strain on education systems. That said, education can also be a powerful driver of change. Transformative Climate Education enables learners to understand climate and environmental challenges, adopt more sustainable lifestyles, and organise for change. To fulfil this role, education systems require strong political commitment, adequate investment, accountability, support for teachers, and space for student activism<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\"
