Oxfam have just completed our carbon footprint report for 2024/5. Flight emissions accounts for 88% of our registered footprint and after a sharp decline during Covid, such emissions now demonstrate a relatively small – but also steady growth – each year. Thus, we have taken actions to reinforce our Responsible Flight Policy and internal approval procedures. We have also established a carbon reduction fund with payments from our flight emissions. The fund is supporting green investments in the global south – this year solar panels for the Oxfam office in Ghana.
