Overview of countries that we currently work in

The Oxfam confederation is present in 81 countries, while Oxfam Denmark currently works in countries in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. These include Burkina Faso, Colombia, Guatemala, Ghana, Kenya, Lebanon, Mali, Niger, Palestine, Palestine, South Sudan, Syria, Uganda and Yemen.

Oxfam Denmark recognizes the need to respond to inequality and crises in other countries where we can add value, including Ukraine and the Eastern European Countries. In addition, we support civil society groups working for quality education in more than 60 countries, and through the Oxfam family we have activities in more than 90 countries.

We collaborate with others across Oxfam globally as well as partners and allies, on regional influencing strategies in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe. We are also strengthening partnerships in the Nordic region to leverage on its potential to become a superpower for progressive change.

Internationally, we take pride in being part of one of the most influential humanitarian organizations, with a strong capacity to engage global institutions and networks to achieve systemic change.
